dA's 'Advertisers'

I was just checking out a DD and all of a sudden my anti-virus program stopped an intrusion from one of the advertisers that dA allows on their site. It was for a known phishing site. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the site as I was only worried about stopping the interaction between my machine and their site so I hurriedly closed my browser.
Does dA care so little about its users that it will allow any and everyone with a few dollars to "advertise" on their site??? This isn't the first time this has happened to me, so I am surely not alone. Surely this has happened to plenty of other users. Is this dA's way of punishing those of

And the same goes to you; your gallery shows a lot of potential... just don't do what I did and only be an 'on again, off again' type artist. If you want to be good, I mean REALLY good, don't take a year or more off the way I did several times. Gotta stick with it. The rewards of such effort can be seen all over this site.
